We are the market leader in the production of highly specialized feed ingredients for piglets, chicks and calves. That doesn't mean we stop developing our products. R&D Product Development & Trial Excellence

With the initiation of 15-20 feeding trials worldwide annually, our R&D Product Development and Trial Excellence department supports the continued growth and pushing of new concept solutions in high performance animals. By conducting regular animal feeding trials with farmers and universities you ensure documentation of mode of action and deliver clear proof of value for the customer. Your job as a scientist with us will provide you the opportunity to formulate and balance experimental diets for target animals. An important part of this is capturing customer needs and engaging in new product development.

R&D Biotechnology

By collaborating with universities and other companies, we continue to be frontrunners in the market. As part of our R&D Biotechnology department you will get a chance to work with state of the art technologies and expand your field of expertise from proteins to fiber enzymes. Our team tests new products and solutions for commercial use on our pilot plant and deliver trouble-free weaning with strong return on investment to our customers.

Segment Management

Through their expertise our Segment Managers develop the overall segment strategies for their species. This means ensuring the long term sales growth and profitability, covering markets needs and providing technical support and training to our sales and application colleagues. As our Segment Manager you are the expert on your species, be it piglets, poultry or calves, where a fully penetrated market in our priority business is estimated at 15 times the current market value. Our Segment Managers spend a large amount of time travelling and speaking at fairs such as our own Feed Your Brain seminars.


As part of BioValue, we strengthen Denmark's potential in biorefining together with universities and other strong companies.
This collaboration provides a unique opportunity for small scale testing of the biorefining of green biomasses together with farmers and agricultural contractors.

FORFRA (funded by GUDP)

We are part of the GUDP (Green Development and Demonstration Progam) project known as FORFRA. This project's goal is to examine different processes for optimizing feed ingredients in order to find a solution that decreases or eliminates the need for use of antibiotics or high doses of zinc oxide in piglet production without causing diarrhea in the animal.

Resource Efficient MicroAlgae Protein Production (ReMAPP) is a project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark. Together with industry and research institutions we examine the use of micro algae for protein production. With our expertise in biotechnology and practical use of feed ingredients we support the growth, harvest, conservation, processing and feed safety through to the development of a finished product used by farmers as an ecofriendly feed ingredient, produced in Denmark and on par with the high quality of soy ingredients.

Feed-a-Gene WP1

We collaborate withseven European universities and a handful of private companies to develop new european specialty proteins of high nutritional value of the feed. WP1 focuses on the optimization of the potential for EU protein feed, the research of new feed processes and the enzyme technology to optimize the nutritional value of the feed. We're also developing new methods for identifying chemical compositions and nutritional values in the feed.
