Celebration of HAMLET PROTEIN’s new factory in Findlay, Ohio

 

Last Friday on January 27 HAMLET PROTEIN took its worldwide presence to the next level by opening a new factory in Findlay, Ohio.

 

The official opening held a number of events and welcomed many important guests including the Ohio Governor John Kasich, the Danish Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Taksoe-Jensen and Mayor of Findlay Lydia Mihalik.

 

The celebration started on Wednesday January 25 with a cocktail reception for HAMLET PROTEIN’s customers during an exhibition International Poultry/Feed Expo in Atlanta. On Thursday January 26 a gala dinner took place in Findlay attended by around 100 people to mark the official opening of the factory.

 

The formal opening was held at the factory on Friday January 27. About 150 people and several media outlets also were in attendance, applauding the opening of HAMLET PROTEIN in Findlay. During the morning, 8 speakers stood on the podium and at 11:30 local time the Ohio Governor John Kasich and the Danish Ambassador Peter Taksoe-Jensen jointly cut the ribbon.

 

In a joint proclamation by the mayor's office and the Hancock County commissioners, Mayor Lydia Mihalik announced that Friday was HAMLET PROTEIN Day.
