And thanks to the unique bioconversion process developed by HAMLET PROTEIN all anti-nutritional factors are reduced to a perfectly safe level for young animals – without compromising the protein quality. From nature, the soya bean contains a number of anti-nutritional factors (ANF), which – if not processed – significantly decrease the applicability in feed. The most important ANFs are:

Antigens

Feed antigens are able to induce serious allergic reactions in the small intestine, particularly in young animals that are among the most sensitive.

Trypsin inhibitors

Trypsin inhibitors have the ability to significantly reduce the digestibility of proteins in feed.

Oligosaccharides

Soya contains indigestible sugars causing flatulence and diarrhoea in monogastric animals.

Phytic acid

Phytic acid is able to impair the utilization of phosphor and other minerals.
