Soya is rightfully considered the most cost-efficient source in feed, combining abundant protein supply with a favorable amino acid profile. And thanks to the unique bioconversion process developed by HAMLET PROTEIN all anti-nutritional factors are reduced to a perfectly safe level for young animals – without compromising the protein quality. The result is unsurpassed, allowing our customers to exploit the full growth potential in soya.
From nature, the soya bean contains a number of anti-nutritional factors (ANF), which – if not processed – significantly decrease the applicability in feed. The most important ANFs are:
Feed antigens are able to induce serious allergic reactions in the small intestine, particularly in young animals that are among the most sensitive.
Trypsin inhibitors have the ability to significantly reduce the digestibility of proteins in feed.
Soya contains indigestible sugars causing flatulence and diarrhoea in monogastric animals.
Phytic acid is able to impair the utilization of phosphor and other minerals.
In all of the products from HAMLET PROTEIN the anti-nutritional factors are reduced to a perfectly safe level for young animals. This is due to the unique bioconversion process developed.
